I've been there, and blue ridge pkwy. It's nice, but the traffic kinda ruins the experience.

Yeah the trucks suck. I'm about 2 hrs. away and go up there quite a bit. It's awesome! You would be hard pressed to find a better streatch of 11 miles anywhere else in the US.

JUST BE CAREFULL.

 

It is an awesome road, and area. The traffic is not that bad. 18 wheelers rarely go thru there. And during the week you can go thru it time after time. You do have to be careful though. It will bite you if you are not.

 

u dont get out of 2nd gear EVER!!!!!
