and also which chain wax do you recommend?

Ok so I never used chain way, I always used lube...Although I got my bike back from the shop and it appears to have a white/dry/sticky chain wax on it. Its holding up SUPER WELL, I am very impressed! No dirt/dust/grime has stuck to it yet. Can anyone tell me with that description which brand name of chain wax this is?? (I would call the shop but they are closed)

the only two that i found just researching around was

1. Maxima chain wax
2. Castrol chain wax

I think is the BELRAY "super clean" chain lube, this is which I use and match with the description that you said.

the chain lube they used is Bel-Ray chain lube....

I tried using just WD-40 for clean and lube, but when riding in the winter months, or when it's colder, the WD-40 is great to clean the chain, not to lube because the salt on the road will lightly contaminate/rust the chain...if you use a light coat of lube, all that crap comes right off with WD-40

I use Bel-Ray Lube or Maxima chain wax, I prefer Bel Ray cause it doesn't fling off....and it's white, so it stays on and looks better too:sneaky....

the Bel-Ray lube protects the chain much better than WD-40 did, but WD-40 is ok to use as long as you do it more often, like after every ride....
