B/c slipons are basically just for looks/sound. I like the Akrapovic Ti on the Blue R1, and Cabon Fiber on all the others.

I also like how quiet they are.

Devil SB-2 Highmount. Nice deep sound and great looks.

On my 2002 R1, I have a PCIIIr and a Micron Slip on and I pulled 137.2 on the Dyno.

I know a guy who has a full akro system and Power Commander and is reaching 135.?.

After my numbers came out I was pleased with my Micron Slip on.

I love my Micron high mount for looks, and sound. I went with a slipon because I am not racing, and don't need the extra horses a full setup gets. The bike is plenty fast. I will likely never max it out, so I went for looks.

I have a Devil SB2 Ti Hi-mount w/ alum. mid-pipe.. it weighs considerably less than the factory slip-on, and it sounds and looks a LOT better.. the main advantage to this system is that you can buy the headers later if you want to add them.. no need to buy a whole new full system unlike the other manufacturers..
