Which Stand?

I need a new rear stand for my R1. All the bikes I will use it on will have spools, so I really don't need a combo stand.

Is the Pit Bull the best stand? Looking at the setup, does the handle easily clear the tire?

Thanks,

Pit Bulls are the stuff. They're sturdy as hell and work like a charm. No problem with the lever clearing the tire.

I would, though, get the one that swaps from spools to swingarm, just in case a buddy needs to borrow your stand in a pinch and doesn't have spools. It's only a twelve dollar difference, anyway.

i have tried many but will say i realy like the pit bull

heres my reason

the single rear wheel is bigger and manuevers better then the dual wheels found on other stands....

try pushing an empty one around of each some where and you will see it is noticable with no weight on it..its worse with more weight

Pit Bull is the S*#T!!!!!!!!

I Just bought mine from Cyclemall.net (they have a $15 UPS Credit on them right now) and I must say it is better than any other stand that I have seen.

My buddy has "handy" stands for his busa, and they are not near as nice as the Pit-Bull. Besides I can put mine on the stand w/o help, and he has dropped his bike twice!!!

Go with the Pit-Bull!!!!!
