I'll vicariously live through you guys with steet-legal "WSBK" racers. The first and last time I dumped loads of $$$$$$ was with my exotic Ducati 998. My lately acquired '07 R1 will stay relatively stock.

I know you're looking for performance mods, and this bike is basically stock with the exception of the race exhaust and a World Supersport-spec ECU.

I make half that...My mods have taken 5 years, some other members have taken 8 or more. It's not ownership...it's a partnership.

Taken me this long to get my 02' semi nice. The NCR titanium subframe I found will make her less long in the tooth.

 

Im always amazed at the amount of money spent on these bikes and they always have crappy street tires on them...for god sakes get some DOT race tires like the pirelli Super Corsa! FAR superior grip and more aggressive profile for better turn in and handling!

 

Ive got a michelin power race soft rear and a pure front. Best mods to date, IMO
