I wear a Suomy Spec-1r Gambler 2 or Van den Goorbergh helmet which doesn't match anything. Then I have a black Alpinestar jacket, gloves and boots and my 06 R1 is Blue.

I know I don't match but I figure I wouldn't match any bike I rode anyways w/ the helmet I have.

 

Old bike was black and red. New is Blue.

So i have red sidi boots, a black suit, red gloves, and a blue lid

I have the street gear, the track is just so expensive, and hell the old ones do the trick.

I match. Black bike black helmet and black jacket.

 

Black arai, black tz-1 jacket, black a-stars track pants, black/red sidis.

I think matching makes you look like a power ranger. I dont' match anybike but black doesn't not match anything either LOL

I'll never get color matched gear though I think it's tacky but I can see why people like it.

 

i match for now: black R1, black helmet, black Dainese jacket and gloves, and black A* boots.

but in a week my helmet SHOULD be done getting painted and i'll have the look i want: everything the same color to make my helmet stand out like crazy

He has an R6 with FIAT plastics, and he wears like a repsol helmet and some other REALLY non matching stuff.

 

The way I look at it, your gear tells everyone what color your first bike was... since your last major crash.

so I match a little, I just wanted something that would go with any bike

An older blue and white ICON leather Jacket

A KBC Helmet (the one with a green girl on it) but I think it has some gray in it; but not the reason why I got the helmet.

Full Leather are Blue/Black and white.

Boots are black.

anyhooo, i am one of the said lame asses who has a dark red r1, red and white HJC, Red yamaha jacket, red and white gloves, BLACK leather pants & BLACK Boots.

The R1 is yellow. I've got a flat black Scorpion helmet, black Alpinestars leather jacket, a red Teknic parka style jacket for cold weather, and a pair of blue (got them cheap) Sidi Vertebra boots. I do not worry about matching gear too much.

 

My Ogk lid & Spada jacket,trousers,gloves & Alpinestars boots
are in classic Gixxer blue & white but my R1 is blue so i guess

Alpinestars BLACK jacket (two of them), suit, gloves and boots. I always buy black it matches everything and is pretty stealthy. Not to mention black matches everything.

Blue bike

Joe Rocket blue/white/black leather jacket, Scorpion blue/black helmet, MotoGP blue/black/white leather gloves.

Problem is that all pieces of gear are a slightly different shade of blue. I look like the blue section on a color wheel showing about 4 different colors of blue...lol

I really dont care about the helmet matching. But my leathers pretty much always match, then again I have a black jacket and black suit. I kinda have the feeling that the helmet is suppose to symbolize yourself and not the bike. Too many nice helmets out there that wouldnt match my bike but match my personality.

 

For my blue R1 I have a black HJC helmet (some people consider them cheapo helmets but I like them), black joe rocket helmet and black gloves plus whatever jeans im wearing and brown work boots. I love my R1 but ive never been much of a brand loyalist, I like to try different bikes / styles / companies

I tried color matching gear to my snowmobile once and ill never do it again. now I have an all yellow sled and black and neon green helmet
