While I think the martin bros make amaizing bikes....they just have too much going on for me.

I'd say my top five custom bike builders are (in no perticular order)

1 - Exile Cycles
2 - West Coast Choppers
3 - Roland Sands
4 - Walz Hardcore
5 - ?????

 

Billy Lane has some cool ideas too.... this bike looked killer... but if I remember right, it set his butt on fire literally... because he made the exhaust on it under tail.

I like Billy Lane's work

I finally had a chance to ride a real deal chopper with 300 rear and some long ass forks S&S motor the works. And let me tell you i hated the ride, it just wouldn't turn and on the highway anything over 65mph they whole bike starts swaying from side to side. Nothing like the R1 :fork :sneaky

 

I dunno the dudes name, but on one episode of biker build off he built a motorcycle that kind of looked like a bicycle. It was freakin sweet. Real clean and had everything hid away. I wish I remembered his name. He was young and from the south, thats all I know.

 

Although I would have shot it a Yamaha blue I like the dual engined Brouhard designs creation.

Yeah man his unique light weight stuff rocks.

 

1. - Even thought it is commercialized OCC theme bikes are still awesome.

2. -Roland Sands because he thinks outside of the box and brought some unique performance to chopper builds.

3. -Bill Lane, because anyone who pulled off a hubless rim deserves recognition.

I have only watched the programmes on Discovery Channel - Is that OCC?

They build beautiful looking bikes, as it seems the others do too from the pictures on this thread.

They are all truly works of art, lovingly made, but how much does this cost?

 

i like the guy in exile cycles, his bikes are nice and clean and old school looking. hate that flashy bling crap.
