they were the days hey! rainey, doohan, schwantz, lawson...etc - all battling it out in the GP races. I miss them days!

My favorite motorcycle racer is a toss up between Kevin Schwantz and Miguel Duhammel.

In that order. These guys were moto gods. The only racer today that could run with those guys (in their prime) is Rossi.

The smoothest rider I've ever witness is easily hands down: Corser.

Man you guys are missing the legend JOEY DUNLOP! One of mine all-time favorite! At age 48, he still won the F1 TT with a SP-1, faster than any younger riders! :thumbup

Rossi's still my favorite though!

my favorite of all time is 3 time 500cc gp world champion wayne rainey. he even had a part of laguna seca named after him. yea, he's that good.

They may have not won many championships but they've saved gp bikes like no others. I have about 2.5 years worth of gp racing starting in 90 I think. They put on one hell of a show!:thumbup

For those who doesn't know about Joey Dunlop...

Joey Dunlop 1952 - 2000

Record breaking, winner of 26 TT races. During TT2000, at age 48, he claimed his 24th, 25th and 26th wins. Unfortunately Joey was killed in a racing accident in Estonia in July 2000. And to contribute Dunlop's tragic death, TT2001 was cancelled. What a legend, for sure we'll miss him...
