Are there different types of windscreen for the '01? I went to a cycle store to buy an aftermarket windscreen, says on the label for 00-01 but when I try to put it, just doesn't fit. The first to holes are good but the bottom hole is not alligned.Help????

What brand of windscreen did you buy? Was it for a 00-01 R1??? or maybe you bought one for another bike??? :dunno
Puig or Zero Gravity are good choices. Buying online is a lot cheaper too. Your stealership probably took you for a ride. :fact
