So, through my hour and 30 minute commute home today I noticed I two finger the front brake but fully grasp the clutch always. I always wanted to get shorty levers, would it be dumb to get a shorty lever on the right and full length on the left?? [emoji53]

I have really wide hands I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get all my fingers on a shorty... My stock one right now I use all of the length on my clutch

That's what I love about my new S1000RR. Once out of first gear, I just forget about using a clutch. :wink2:

I have had shorties on both sides before. I liked it more than I thought I would. Modern clutches don't require all that leverage.
And of course modern brakes don't require a ham fist either.

To answer your question though, I have seen many bikes with only one shorty. Looked fine.

I didn't get out of first for about 30-40 minutes xD lol doesn't bother me when I'm going through gears but 40 minutes of stop and go, ugh lol hand cramps
