Check price

WTB as the title suggests in great condition, preferably under 20k miles. I am located in Mn but can travel for the right deal. Not looking for the standard one, limited edition only not a collector. I ride all my motorcycles, thank you fellas.

Can you stop teasing me please!!🫣🤗 lol
It's crazy how these scammers get access to on all these other forums. But at least we can spot them from a distance.. they're getting hard to find that's for sure, one just sold on iconic auctions yesterday for $15700 with only 425miles but they pop up from time. Did you mean that I am looking for one with 10-12k miles or price? I tried to message you but I can't yet because I just joined i suppose. If you can message me will greatly appreciate, cheers to that gorgeous machine of yours!

I work very hard at keeping the r1 & r6 forums clean from scammers and spammers. But I can't be on the forum 24/7. So they still find their way here. I kick them as fast as I can, and I ban their IPs.

Good luck! I've also been keeping my eye out for one of these, as they come up every now and then but most of the ones that people are convinced are LE are really just anniversary paint scheme models as far as I know. Sorry to threadjack, but apart from the lighter rims and lap timer were there any other major changes? I know they got ohlins suspension and a quickshifter, but I didn't know if that was exclusive to the SE and LE or if anniversary paint models also had those two as options. Might be nice to figure out, as finding an 06 with a quickshifter and ohlins could be several thousand dollars cheaper than the LE model. Looking forward to seeing what you find. Please report back if you are successful. I'd love to see what market value ends up at when not inflated by an auction house.

Hey Justin, welcome aboard and no you're good. So what the standard anniversary edition and limited edition have in common is the color scheme-paint. Only 500 pieces was produced for the limited edition, they made an SP with different color scheme in Europe but same goodies. Here ya go;
Specific changes made for the Yamaha R1 Limited Edition include: An homage to Kenny Roberts and the original Yamaha racing colors with the lovely yellow/black/white ‘speedblock’ paint.Front and rear Ohlins suspension – developed by the same team that took care of the Yamaha MotoGP bike of the timeslipper clutch, integrated lap timer, Marchesini forged aluminum wheels designed specifically for this bike, plus Yamaha also provided a “special tool box” with each Limited Edition. A plaque on the triple tree depicting the number makes it truly unique and special or I would've gone with the 07/08 model. I am not in a rush but I'll find one, I dont want one with no miles or below 500 miles as I would ride it with my other bikes. From auction sites, BAT, iconic motorcycles they sell between $14500-22k from zero miles - about 1k miles. Private seller with decent miles you can get em anywhere between 10k- 12 ish. There are two standard ones in the Midwest with low miles, one in Iowa and one in north Dakota or so clean. I'll let you know if I find one, cheers!
