any idea if an US cdi will work on an European cdi? I am talking about 2007-2008 R1.
If that works I am also looking for one

If you have an Euro bike and get a USA ecu you lose the immobilizer. If this is not a problem then contact M.C-Racing on ebay. He re programs his ecu units with YEC tech. I got one and fueling can be adjusted right down to about 1000 rpm or less. Also you can program it yourself. A bike with YEC ecu is just short on wings cos no other electrical mod makes you go as fast.
