just give her 01 R1 and buy your self a new one...

 

I am already working that angle with her, but some jack*ss she works with that used to "ride & race professionally" is telling her that the R1 would be too big for her, I am trying to convice her otherwise!

 

i hate to sound like that so called jackass, but did she ever ride before? 2001 R1 is pretty torquey down low and definitely not a beginner friendly. If i was to pick R1 year for someone to start on (not that i recommend any at all) it would be the 04-08. The earlier carbed ones are too much and so are the 02-03. So I agree with the "jackass" at her work:fact. Good luck on your search tho man
