Wow! What tipped you off to look? A friend notice it?

Don't worry, Cycletrader won't care. They get paid either way, so I'm sure they'll spend some time preventing this in the future.

i'm gonna start posting ads on there and e-bay "selling" that they are worthless agencies and that people need to stop using them because they don't care if their users get de-frauded out of money at all, cuz they are still getting paid.

I wonder if the REAL trick is to advertise your bike, sell it and then nick it after they get a punter :dunno
Just in case, get extra security for the next couple of months :dunno

Hell yeah I've been looking for a new ride and seeing all kinds of scams. It's amazing you see someone selling an 03 for like 4k and you can tell it's a scam lot of them on eBay and shiznit. Most of only take "wire x-fer" I've emailed some of them catching them in the scam...reply I got...Hello Sir,
This bike is in perfect conditions, regitered of the united states, i'm the only owner , and the title is clear.
I will arrange and pay all the shipping by airplay or truck.
The price from the listing is the correct price .
I offer you 3 days for inspection, and before to shipp you the bike for the inspection you need to do a deposit of 50% by wire transfer (bank to bank) .
If you are not agree with deposit i can shipp you the bike first and i will provide you with the tracking number....when you will check the tracking and you will see that the bike is on the way...you will need to send me all the money by wire transfer, but before you receive the bike. If you will not send the money in 24 hours after you will receive the tracking i will cancel the shipping.
If you still have questions about the bike please do not hesitate to contact me .
Sent him another asking where the bike was told me Vegas yet he had it listed in the PHX area. I asked when I could go view and he never replied back to me...Totally full of shiznit. Cycletrader just put a new thing warning people of fraud. Do a search and look at the top.

The other way you can tell on fleabay is it's for "pre-approved" bidders.

I used to work for BofA and have seen a bunch of charge-backs for phony cashier checks. It's amazing what people are doing you really have to watch your ass

I've been wondering looking at some of the bikes who from the forums it is. Cuz I suspect they are just doing a search on the web and then posting those pics. Makes me weary to post any pics of my new bike when I get her.

he replied.
now the ball is in my court.
now i have options.
i don't want to lose this one at all.
pretty much my fantasy is to set up some type of meeting spot and then rape him. :sneaky

but more enough i was thinking of setting up links on my web server of pics from my bike accident to prove that i have money from my insurance company to buy a replacement bike.
this way i can at least obtain an ip and at least get an idea of his whereabouts.

guys...i need more ideas on what i should do next.
possibly someone write up something good.
we all agree on it and then reply.
but i don't want this to linger on any longer than it has to because remember he is trying to sell this quick and i know i'm not the only one who is inquiring about this bike.

this is what he replied with:

What an idiot. So, this guy is in Italy and you are supposed to blindly wire him a few grand, and naturally the bike will be at your front doorstep in a few weeks! Ha ha:sleep DO these people this they are dealing with complete morons here?

Tell him something like this: "So you are living in Italy? Great! I and 3 of my bodybuilding friends are leaving next week for a 3 week vacation in Italy. We are renting a car and traveling all over from Venice down to Rome. Of course we should make arrangements to meet in person so that I can give you the payment. Then you can sign some documents that I will have prepared stating your intentions to sell the bike to me. My friends and I would love to meet you and take you out for lunch sometime while doing business. Why dont we exchange phone numbers and you can tell me where and when we should meet. This is wonderful and will work out for the both of us. I get to personally hand you the money and you can tell me more about the bike! Stay in touch soon!"

Then watch the fooker squirm:eek:wwn3d

i don't want to scare him but someway get some type of real solid information on him.
can't really do too much with an ip but at least know his whereabouts.
i'm hoping it's somebody from mass. :crash

i'm still thinking it's someone in the us posing as someone from europe.
