My personal point of view its.... easier for supplier since the endurance is in Japan. Where as ohlins its office in in Netherlands.stronghelmet said:By the way, why the set up is with KYB instead of ohlins so big difference in performance, to overcome the sister company?
Is it possible?
couldn't help but notice the factory team (blue 45) uses the same quick change setup as Phase One Endurance does, the white nylon disc next to the sprocket and the tooth on the swing arm to hold the chain. love to get hold of one of those quickfill oil caps :yesnodsimonkobejapan said:Works Yamaha machines
the yamaha people(designers etc)are cool people, and just had a good day drinking(free beer etc of course!)and just enjoyed the days racing
it was really hot and many bikes etc had problems
I believe both companies are owned by Soqi... that being said I am sure they are independent profit centers and therefore do there own thing.stronghelmet said:By the way, why the set up is with KYB instead of ohlins so big difference in performance, to overcome the sister company?

How come 2 world class riders (Haga and Edwards) are getting owned by japanese local riders, big time???
Would Honda put so much money on these 8 hours bikes that they are that much faster than the Yamaha???
What's else could it be. I mean, Edwards know what is doing, and Haga hasn't been the luckiest dude in the world, but he's winning in WSB on a private bike and he's probably one of the 5 most talented riders on the planet, I'd like to see him on a Honda RC211 in GP, little Nicky would bite the dust!!!
WTF?? Those mod honda are that fast???:dunno
:iamwithst Werd.... Totally awesome. :beerarai_speed said:Great pictures! Thanks for sharing.
