Now that tugs at the heartstrings of 'ol buggers like me... Gimme that old Yellow and Black Yamaha racing scheme instead of the Blue...

 

I'm an old fart , and to me Yamaha has always been Yellow,lol....My old YZ's, Boy I miss that color.

I just love how simple it is. But I am going to add white to the front also.

yes the old yz 80 I had one of those too and it was yellow as can be, I miss that bike I used to have so much fun on it.

Here is a yellow R1. Photo taken minutes after it was crashed, so it ain't in the best condition. Photo taken in poor light w/ low powered flash, so it's kinda shite.

Has anyone painted their R1 Yellow? I was thinking about going Ducati Yellow with a White Number Plate in the back and front with Bronze Trim. Has anyone done this one their bike? If so, can you post a pic?

somebody else posted the dynomite one... the best looking yellow R1 in my opinion... just like the R7 paint, but yellow instead of red!
(actually, this has special R7-style bodywork, but it's bad-arse!)
