Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen

I'll keep this short and to the point. The stock windscreen on the R1 S-U-C-K-S............ Even at full tuck you are still getting hit by the wind. Forget sitting up, you might get blown off the bike!:D

The ZG DB is a great item. It fits great, no noticable gap between the screen and the upper. The best past about it is, it does its job! You get plenty of protection at full tuck, and even if you are only hunched over a little, it still deflects the wind much better than a stock screen would.

Truly a must have for all riders. The price is great at around $70. You use the original screws and such so no need to buy extra hardware. A really functional and cool looking modification.

Here you can see the extra 2 inches or so that it gives you over the stock screen. Every little bit helps!

I love my DB. I find myself not having to tuck in so much at 100+ mph.

I would have to agree. A long day at the track really lets you notice the difference. My neck kills me with the stock screen. Yet I feel considerable better with the DB. One of the best mods I have bought so far.

I think I would like the clear or maybe a light smoke.

Is the "gap" issue a lot better on the zero gravity than the Fabbri double bubble? And is it less noticable on the zero gravity? I am leaning towards the zg, but if it has gap problems too then I may have to stay with stock.

I have a tiny gap with the ZG DB, but it's hardly noticeable unless you've got your face 6" away from the upper(from the headlight side). Otherwise it's a huge improvement over the stock screen, gap or no gap. I got the dark smoke but if I had to do it again I'd get the light smoke since you can't see through mine unless it's a very sunny day. But it looks sweet and it was the first thing I bought after I brought my bike home. I don't get to the track so I'm not always riding in a full tuck, therefore the visibility issue is a non issue for me. It kicks the wind up over the head a little better and that's key.

I got the dark smoke and if I had to do it again, I'd go with the clear. The gap on the 02 is minimal but it is there. Like the other poster said though, you'd have to almost look foi it to notice it. I'm planning on doing some track time so I may end up getting the clear one.
