I was wondering the best way to remove the factory stickers on the tank. I own a R1 2002 red white and black.
 
another kool thing to help get ride of residue....... and clean the bike at the same time..

honda polish.... yeah yeah i know... it's honda... but this stuff is great..... i used it after removing all my warning/info stickers......
 
unless he's talking about warning lables....

I am talking about the warning stickers. I have one sticker on the tank next to the gas cap.
 
when I pulled all of my stickers, except the flames, I used an air tool that was similar to a dremel, but had an eraser wheel on it. took the damn thing off in seconds. no heat, no glue residue, and no damage to the clear coat. I just had eraser pieces all over me though. a quick spray down with the air hose took care of that.
