I high sided about a month ago. I had local shop put new tires on. The other day i went out for a ride and the guy i was riding w/ noticed that my front rim was bent. Now i have been riding on this rim for about 2 weeks now and couldn't feel anything wrong. I can i have it fixed or do i need a new one???? I will try to post a pic later.

you can have it fixed.. which can cost anywhere from 1-300$. i guess depends on where u go, but i would find another wheel on here or on ebay and see what you can get one for. is bent wheel worth ur life?????? not mine.

I saw the pictures ,i reapir them in my shop ,i bought a rear rim on ebay 7 inches bent ,a little work and gets reapir and now i used right now in my bike and 187 MPH and everything is fine ,

I seggest to remove the rim and geta buthane ,or acetilene torch and a urethane hammer ,use gloves please ,warm a lot the rim and hit whit ht urethane hammer ,remember tha when you ride your bike the tire and aluminum goues to warm ,you need to warmed the rim to bent again ,.when you finish the repair ,spray whit paint ,the hot aluminum seal again the paint ,

Is easy, Sorry that im in Puerto Rico for repair all yours rims :sing:

i don't care how strong the dealerships tire machine is, there is no way they could have done that. maybe a scrape or scratch but not that. why do people mess up there own bikes and always resort to try and have someone else pay for it. if they do you really have a nice dealership and you are taking advantage. they should have caught it when they did the tires.

Thats what i ask the manger and he siad they must of balanced with the bend and just made up for it. I am going there tomo. i am not looking for free shit but i feel half off fixing the rim is more then far. If i went into a turn and the beed broken i would of been F#$%@# :scared. Even if i did bend the rim i would think the shop guys would pick up on this.
