Thoes are very well made! Who makes them? I think this is the easiest / most cost affective way to simply raise the ride high / ergonomic reasons!
Yes, they are EXTREMELY well made, by a guy named Wyn Belorusky. He quoted me $510 shipped in (almost) any in/out/up/down configuration. Those he made for his '06 50th R1 that is an FZ/R1 hybrid. I am still playing with my seat position before settling on a final measurement, but mine may end up the same as his.

The FZ1 message board crashed, so I can't find the pics. His bike is a lot like a fairing version of my project (my avatar), only he made a lot of the parts where I am using a lot more OE parts.

My ergo measurements are half FZ and half Super Duke.

<edit> Found a picture of Wyn's bike on SportRider. Notice the 01-05 FZ fairing.

That's real nice!

I should have my tank and tail next week (50th Yellow), the bars will be here on Tuesday and I still need to order my headlight kit (but I ran out of cash, oops). I have a set of lane splitters on order as well.

The only "unknowns" at this point are the gauge mount and the headlight wiring. In theory I just need an adapter plate the mounts to the gauge, then to the headlight bracket. But until I get the headlight and get the plastics off, there is no telling what's involved. The wiring is the least of my worries.

I am custom making a gauge bracket right now out of aluminum sheet ,flat bars, a drill and a file.

my race bike has the rear end lowered aprox 2/8 and the front raised 3/8 it works great.

2/8? Is that 1/4? :lol

IMO raising a rear that high as mentioned in earlier post is to high. You bring into tractibility issues even if your canyon carving. Makes the rear light.
If you drop the front 5 mm/raise the rear 5 mm that's quarter of an inch. I notice a pretty big change in the bike with that adjustment on my bike.

My bike was set up by graves. They told me if you lower the front and raise the rear the front of the bike under power will float. That is wy they raise the front and lower the rear to get better control of the front end

Lol. Ya when doing suspension I always measure in 1/8 and 1/16 it is easier

I dont understand. So what is the measurement they use for rear heigth? But there are adjustable triple clamps which they use and I have. Trail adjustments are used for handling characteristics as I understand. I changed mine and that 3mm made a big difference

Raising the rear changes the swingarm angle changes, and the leverage angle of the shock. Bike and handling can get distorted for sure.

We all like things different so what is for one is not for the other...

the shock length ohlins is adjustable. I am not a sus pro so I leave it to the experts I just take in what they tell me.

Agreed. I let my chassis guy real deal with it. However I ride my bike he doesnt so I do make adjustments to continue to learn suspension, and see if I can get it more dialed.

I have an Ohlins unit and the ride height is a nice feature but you'll notice it isnt a radical amount of available adjustment.
