Thanks Dan.
Is everything done through Nesba? If I pay them for the track day(s), what else should I budget? Besides fuel and booze.

What kind of Lodging? I guess most of you bring your campers and RVs? I thought the Nesba thing was just the privilege of being a member of Nesba and then there was still the track day fee on top of that?
What about safety wiring? Do I start off in the beginner class or is there a placement "test"?
I have regular pucks.
You pay a nominal annual fee to NESBA for the organization then pay "trackday fees" for each trackday depending upon where you go.
To touch on some of your questions:
Budget items: Food, fuel, lodging, tires, maintenance, etc
Lodging: some will wimp out and stay in a hotel. Others bring their motel with them like Scott and Dan(finsl). Some of us sleep in our "Free candy" vans. Some tracks allow camping on site. Others don't.
Booze: Check track policy first. Some tracks are "dry" and do not allow alcohol even when camping.
Safety wiring is only necessary if you run in advanced. But, good for all levels. From the pics of you, I'd say you would easily fit in intermediate. However, if you've never done a trackday before, I'd recommend once in Beginner/Novice just to learn what it's all about.
