as mostly already stated, there's all kind of ways/reasons that qualify you for handicap plates. i'm still trying to get mine from when I had a heat stroke and now my body can't regulate it's temperature very well. i can't run long distances, or play any kind of crap like basketball, soccer, etc or i'll overheat and have another heat stroke. sometimes i'll be shivering when it's 70 and sunny out, or sweating my balls off in shorts and a t-shirt when it's 30 out.

btw, skeeter, is your sig seriously 8-9 inches tall?

I've seen a few bike with handicap tags, the best one I have seen though is a dude that rolls a kawi with a sidecar but the sidecar is a wheelchair ramp that he rolls his chair up on, secures it and then hops on the bike and goes. :epimp

So I went to the store and guess what I saw in the Handicapped parking lot?

I saw a freaking GSXR1000 with a damn handicapped tag:dundun::dundun: Oh com'on.. I wanted to snap a picture but my damn cell phone ran out of battery..
I have a nephew that's severely handicapped and after seeing what his parents go through to provide for his needs, I never question one's disability. They are so limited in the time because of all the running around they do to provide for his needs that if they occasionally use a handicapped stall to save a few seconds, more power to them. I'm sure there are a few "cheaters" out there but I'm guessing he has a legitimate reason for the sticker. Could be a weak heart, prosthetic limb...

Yesterday I went riding with a new group and one of them had a handicap plate on a cbr1000rr. He had a bad accident years ago that he lost his leg in...now he rides with one leg and the canes attached to the other side of the bike. A real inspiration if you ask me.

that's pretty sweet :fact
I see the guy all the time and to this day I have never been able to get a good picture of it. I'll keep trying though. Its similar to this one though.

I ride with one eye. Have had only one eye since birth. I also do track days. But I would never apply for a handicap sticker Besides I park my truck in east bumble F anywhere we go. I know there are a few other that only have vision in one eye and ride.

i'd put in for a sticker, would be hilarious to watch peoples' faces like the OP when there's a sportbike sitting in the handicap spots.
