I have an 03 R1. I recently dropped it due to deer. Its not bad but need new left fairings for it. Its liquid silver. But neways im taking a different approach to it now. I want to stretch it out 10 over and lower the front as well. I want that slammed look. Im askin how is it done and where shud i start looking. I kno about the rear lowering links and how close they are to the back tire. But i really need to kno how to the front. Thanks!

Wel i have alot of straight aways here and the only turns i have are turning from block to block so im not interested in knee dragging or wheelies. Jus want to look low and mean.

I just find it pretty funny how some people on here make this forum just as bad as a honda forum. If the guy wants to lower his bike let him. Dont talk crap, give him pointers. Not everyone wants to hit a 25mph corner at 100mph. I like the way lowered bikes look, if done right. I like how mine handles stock. So i wont be lowering mine. But help the guy if he's asking for tips.

Thats fine. But man. Eveytime i read a post about lowering or someone asking a question. Its like a full on flame fest. I have been reading alot and learning alot on here. I just read thru a lot of crap. Seems like everyone wants to talk crap and not really help. Few people help. Just like people going on and on about someone not wanting to wear gear. Its there choice. Reminds me of this saying

I appreciate guys. Thats why i came to this site. A few of my friends told me it was good but no pointers yet. But back to the topic at hand. I ordered an adjustable lowering link today and extended swingarm. But really want a one piece chain not one with links all in it. And im still having trouble with figuring out what to do with the forks. A few guys told me to jus slide the forks down but i dont kno if thats a safe way to go. Thanks!
