No need for a PCV with the right flash...but we are still working on a good '12 3/4 system map...No, exhaust is still all stock. Have been thinking about just doing cans again, then Y pipe when I could afford a PC too.
You left out the first thing: standing around in the garage, staring at it for hours.lol, for a guy who has never done it before.... I think its gonna be very hard
what are the steps ? From what I read...
Sand
primer
paint
clear coat
???
Ah, that means you have the color(s) picked out then. :lol:lol I completed the first step already
youve pretty much got it. if the tank is good without and dents or scraps its really easy. in that case i wouldnt use sandpaper just scotchbrite to rough the surface followed by your primer, paint, clear coat. go to a parts store and grab a tack rag. nothing more important than having a clean surface your paintinglol, for a guy who has never done it before.... I will upload a picture tomorrow, let me know what the best course of action would beThe scratches aren't bad at all.
They sell a one part scratch filler, thats what i would use. Just make sure to let it dry fully before sanding it.good deal. if they arent too bad you can use a filler primer
