I've read and seen that some of you guys use this type of tank protection, can anyone rate these or does anyone have any other suggestions.

I wouldn't buy CF from Hong Kong. Check out shift-tech or Geelong Carbon Craft, both worked well for me.

its an additional piece.. but it is another stomp grip part.. i have the gytr cf center on mine.. and the stomp grip sides... fully functional and looks good

This. I prefer a local clearbra installer who has better film than 3M though. He can install it much better than I can. If it's installed right you can't even tell it's there.

Sorry to keep harping on about tanks but is there a massive difference between the 06 and 07 tank? I can get an 07 Carbon tank protector in the UK for £22 but I've got to go to bloody China for an 04 05 06 model.
