I went with the M4. Cat delete.
I'm going to have it dyno in a month.
I ran few 1/4 mile passes a couple weeks ago. 11.1, 10.5 and a 9.98 without a tune. Pain in the arse keeping the front wheel on the ground. Just had the ECU flashed.

the R1 is incredibly spoiled with soooo many options. Pick the one you like best from a reputable company and you will be fine.
I come from 2 different cat elim austin racing, a cat elim carbon graves(the newest versions on full ti look the best to me) and now a full titanium Spark. I`ve loved them all. Who knows.. I think it won`t be my last one.

Akrapovic cans are usually spring mounted. Not seeing a clamp (from this angle anyway). Even though the bike pictured isn't an R1, I wonder how the owner installed it on the link pipe? It might help me figure out a plan to install my spare LV canister on any aftermarket decat pipe I decide on in the near future.
I can answer that since I own it. The Muzzy headers and mid pipe are 54mm, the Akra is 60mm (if I recall correctly). There is a machined Al. adapter with a flange done to a very tight tolerance and press fit it. It will not come off and is rigid with no play whatsoever. It was hammered in place with a mallet while hot and the can was then forced on. If I want to remove the can it will likely need to be cut. When done it was solid I didn't bother with the springs.

Cheers!

Ah, thanks for the clarification. :33: There's a local machinist who can probably mill up a canister adapter for me. First things first, plan on an ECU flash to eliminate the Mode 1 twitch-o-matic throttle response. Then I'll see about the custom work.

Cheers back, lol.
