I would need to purchase the stock mid pipe and catalytic converter box as I purchased used and the previous owner did not keep it.

But would I also need to purchase and re-attach all the sensors ? previous owner has install a bunch of stuff to bypass those items...

Actually, wiring the exup open (but leaving the cat in place) can provide an acceptable compromise to sound levels. I've been running the stock system w/this done on my 2018 MT-10 since 2019 (ecu reflashed of course), and the sound level is somewhat throatier than the bone-stock configuration, but nowhere near as raucous as an aftermarket 3/4 decat. Give that some consideration.

Actually not quite the same. One is a public nuisance which could get you cited, the other is a National treasure.
I laugh at those who feel the need to spend thousands to make their high horsepower bike LOUD, just so they can get that extra 3.84% more horsepower To ride around town. To each their own I suppose.

Oh I'd not disagree with you that some systems (I use that term loosely) can be a huge nuisance and land you in hot water with the law, but I find most of these are normally riders who have just fitted a decat pipe and the typical bean can slip on, again normally because it's cheap, a bug bear of mine actually, they'll spend 15k on a bike but recoil in horror at the prospect of spending 2k on an proper exhaust and a flash.
Those in my opinion are just too much, I'm guilty of it having done the same to my 2012 S1000RR when I had it and still rode the roads years ago.
For the most part though, any quality system, Arrow, Akra, SC Project (SC1R) Graves Termi etc will sound fantastic without being silly.
Mr Freeman is indeed a national treasure.

What Gearheaded said, is it not possible to just buy a slip on with a DB Killer insert? Plenty out there.

Why you'd want to quieten down the Epic noise is beyond me mind... lol like telling Morgan Freeman to shut up because is voice is annoying.
I put one of those db killers in my two bros pipe that came with the bike, trying to quiet it down. Two things happened. 1) The bike was neutered, and 2) I blew that suppressor and the magnesium end cap off the exhaust on the straight. In an instant my bike was pulling, had its balls back. I don’t recommend...

The two bros was on it when i bought it and replacing it is on my list.

Ah that sucks :( was the bike mapped for the two brothers?

Maybe it's an issue on the shorty style GP slip ons?
I've been lucky enough to try almost all the systems on my R1, full akra, full arrow, pipewerx and now the SC Project SC1R, they've all been mapped onto the bike with the DB killers removed, but due to the UKs stringent noise testing on track I've had to fit the baffles a lot.
Can't say I've felt any difference in power (Not a racer, just fast group rider)

Mr Guintoli has done a brilliant video on the differences here.
