I was reading a thread, this guy [yamaha-racing] was talking about converting a stock ecu into a yec version for street use. Does anyone know how I can contact him? Thanks

YAH! i just noticed hes a vendor here tooIs it not a member from here that does this ?
Who is it ? Because I got a bit confused...YAH! i just noticed hes a vendor here too
Who is the one that can help me with the YEC flash then ?The Ebay link is not for the same flash that the rest of the thread is about. SBKunlimited is an Awesome seller and you will get a great tune if you go that route, but it is not the YEC flash the we are talking about. You will not be able to hook your laptop up to it and tune it yourself.
send me an PMWow, it's proving very hard to get this information. :eek5:
The guys that reprogram the stock ecu to YEC spec are Yamaha's own Race Technicians.
They have access to source code for all R6/R1 past/present (R6 from 2003 up and R1 from 2001 up) and as future models arrive...they will receive the code from Yamaha's in-house YEC Department.
One of the big attractions of going the Stock ecu reprogrammed to YEC spec is that we get a choice regarding speed readout on the stock instrument panel (street version) or to have a Temp. display instead (race version). All functions outside of this are exactly the same....same software, same firmware.
