I pour it in until it gets to the correct level in the site glass. After that, I start it and let it run for a few seconds then shut it down.

The level, after doing that above, will drop below where I filled it to originally. Add more until the correct level is reach.

Only need 4 quarts. I change oil filter every time.

Monitor level/check level after bike cools down after first full ride.

If it’s too full, you can remove drain bolt to let some oil out and quickly reinstall it.

 

That’s just fine. That little bit won’t hurt anything I use 4litres every time and with the new filter it is perfect

 

Just ensure you drain the old oil and pour in a fresh oil till the line... run the engine for a few min to warm up the oil... let the bike sit for 10-15 min and allow the oil to settle... then fill to the line.... its quite simple and don't over think it. Don't worry how much oil others use.... just worry about your bike and don't overfill it.

 

Just put in the 4!litres and your done.

 

Make sure bike is standing up straight and level, when draining oil and when checking oil.
