With only 2100 miles if you can get it for 5 or less then its a Superior deal.

 

get ready for a monster of a bike if you get it. it's not like the newer bikes as it's power delivery is very harsh and abrupt. A very very fun bike not as fast as the new bikes on the street I would say it's more fun as your grunt is always there.

 

If you can test drive ...very helpful...big fan of the year...

 

I was considering the 98 but moved to the 02's because it keeps the same engine, but gains fuel injection.

 

There were updates to the motor too...

Couldn't find much out there to referance, but the only way a 99 will sell for $5K (USD) is if it is a. mint, b. original, c. low milage, and d. bought by a 1st gen fanatic like some of us here. Otherwise 90% of the 99's out there are not worth $5000:fact

r1 looks good. I just got mine back going again today. time to freshen it up with a few goodies and then get it back being used daily again
