2001 Fuel Filter

Hey guys...

Im having issues keeping my bike started... I think it might have to do with fuel getting to where it needs to be so I was going to change the fuel filter... is there a fuel filter, and if so, where is it? I can tfind any info on where it is...

Your bike has a fuel filter, it sits in a rubber holder right along side the fuel pump, under the gas tank. Take a look at this video:

right at the start, you will see the fuel line going into the white fuel filter. replacement is easy, raise the tank, remove filter, and replace. the filter has a direction, pay attention to the arrow on the outside plastic.

I wouldn't be surprised if that doesn't solve your problem, but it can't hurt.
