if I go in to diagnostic mode and check the closed throttle tps angle it is 18 I think the angle should be 15-17 and open throttle 97-100 is this gong to make a difference In the way the bike runs? It is a bit#h to adjust the dam thing and if it dose not make a difference I will leave it alone

37 views no replies nice . I adjusted the tps to 16 and the bike idles smoother now and runs great I answered my own question the only thing is at full throttle opining I am getting 96 should be 97-100
I only get 17-90 values. I've adjusted the cable a little and didn't seem to help, and the idle screw and I can't seem to get more range. Any new info on yours?
I'm having weird intermittent issues at idle. My bike is set to 1250 idle but will randomly drop to around 500 then bounce between 500 and 1000 pretty roughly and sometimes die. Also once it starts warming up and the idle starts dropping from 2000 from the auto choke down to 1250 it sporadically drops and sometimes levels out. My TPS was set to 17-95, I adjusted to 18-97 being only one point off instead of two. I then set the throttle position in power commander. There was no change. I'm desperate to find the answer to this weird issue.
Btw the original manual is wrong for tps voltage check, the blue wire should be noted as black IIRC.
