Yeah mines around 33mpg. I get about 100 miles before the f trip comes on.

 

Are you going WOT more with the exhaust?

Just a Graves titanium/carbon fiber 3/4 exhaust system,smog block off plates & a flash tune from SBU...

 

I'm not close to 100 either since the flash. I think I got 98 today but the light was on for at least 8 or 9 miles.

 

light usually comes on after 90-100 miles or so. depends how ive been riding.

Straight ECU flash will almost always be PIG rich.

24 mpg sounds about right. I was getting that an lower before I started using AT.

 

Wow .... I must be doing something wrong. I'm getting 41.5 miles per gallon and the light doesn't come on till about 150 on the trip odometer. I have went to 170 b4 putting gas in. And no it not kilometers either

 

No flash? No mods?

Might want to check to see if you're running lean if you do have mods.

When I'm on my R1 I am in now way trying to get the best mileage possible. I'm on it to have fun and twist the throttle. If you wanted a commuter bike... you should of bought a R3. :lol

 

I knew the bike would eat gas but wanted to see what's everybody else getting for mpg... This beast eats a lot more than my 05 R1 with full Akra's & a custom map.
I figure she's just running a little rich until I get a custom dyno tune done.

 

I average 24-25mpg mixed hwy and city riding.

last ride. I got 30mpg due to it being a little more wet so I wasnt on the throttle as I normally would. LOL.

with Graves 3/4th exhaust + Graves FTECU map.

 

13.9 mpg the last time I was out on the bike. Light came on at right around 50 miles.

Is this just the 15+? Stock, on my 14, I was getting 40+mpg, now after mods im getting about 33-35 and have to fill up at about 110-120.

 

I guess I could ride around in 2nd or 3rd gear doing 50, 60, 70mph. Lord knows the bike will do it. I just don't ride that way, nor try to get the best mileage. I bet if I really try, I could get 48 - 50 mph, short shifting, coasting, and what not. But I don't ride that way either.

Riding on the street, safely, and I saw on her occasionally, I'm getting 40+ mpg. I don't see or think it is so improbable.

 

I average between 30-32 it says. I'm ham fisted and do rolling wheelie take offs lol. but do not ride in 1st at 70 either.

 

I was getting 28, stock with a flash.

Just installed M4 cat delete, getting reflashed soon...

Mostly city.

 

I hit 115 miles before the fuel light came on while out riding yesterday. Mix of highway cruising with frequent high-ish speed passes. '16 M with full Graves and 2WDW flash tune.

 

A mix between hitting it hard and street speeds I get the low fuel light at about 90-95 miles and with nothing but street speeds I'm getting about 120 before the light comes on. This is with the FTECU flash, Akra slip on and mid pipe but even with it stock it wasn't getting much better.

 

112 on this tank so far and no light yet, actually shows 3.0 gallons used but we'll see.

 

What engine modes are you guys running in? Would it really make all that much of a difference

 

I use Fuelly for all my vehicles, so far the R1 is thirsty, more so after the flash, Pre flash, stock with the 02's on I could get just over 39, shows she's currently averaging 29.2 overall, with a best of 39.5(stock).


I'd like to build a lean cruise section of the map, but a dyno confirmation of my tune/flash will be first.
