I bought a 2016 Yamaha R1S out from a dealer in Vegas. This was my second bike, I didn't notice anything seemingly out of place right away.
About a month into riding it, I'd start getting an engine light up with a number '20' next to it.
Took it to a shop, and the light wouldn't pop up, but it did the day that I picked it up.
So 20 mentioned something about the atmospheric pressures being read by the sensors.
Went to ride it a little bit more and then had the battery changed from the OEM to the Shorai.
Rode once with the new battery, then the main 50 amp fuse blew.
Now I have a code 60 fault.
Bike wouldn't start at all - changed the fuse (which had blown and I didn't know) but now the bike won't start.
It'll sputter - but won't start.
Code 60 indicates a fault with the control throttle drive motor.
Back to back issues with only having put 3K miles on is honestly stressing me out.
Just wanting to see if anyone else has dealt with these, or if I'd be best off taking it to the dealer to look into instead of trying to chase any solutions myself.
