Took my new to me R1M (1 owner and 2,200 mi.) over to 2 Wheel Dyno Works over in Kirkland WA to get a fresh tune with the new FTecu auto blipper and auto tune which I installed two days ago for yesterday's tuning. The previous week I took it down to Thunderhill to 'see what she can do' and it was so rodiculously gutless that I was getting my doors blown off by R6s on the straight so of course something was wrong and it had to be either the Graves EVR malfunctioning or the fueling was wrong. Unfortunately I did 2 sessions of the 4 days planned and then drove 12 hours back home so mad and confused. Back to yesterday, she made 103.6 hp on the dyno lol. Still trying to figure out why exactly how it came to this point but they'll be refreshing the proper Graves EVR software on it this week become either was very obvious on the graph that the servo completely shut at 7k rpm and choked it off. So weird, but looking forward see what kind of power it makes.

they do good work there. the graves maps are meant to be used with auto tune and its all locked out so its good your going to them for a full custom tune but i think the evr map is locked anyways i don't know how much they can get to. be sure to update on this.

Yes the one in it is the locked file. They're waiting to get the unlocked one from graves when they are open. It was unfortunate that 2 Wheel had the unlocked EVR file for a 16 and an 18 but they haven't tuned a 17 with the EVR system yet..

The 18 software is different from the previous ones.
Nels tunes my 18 at 2Wheeldynoworks.
AR GP2R 3/4 exhaust, block off plates, and active tune. Stock air cleaner.
184 hp.
He does good work. Cruising I get around 38-39 mpg.

Trying to get the receipt for the Graves EVR exhaust from the original owner otherwise they're going to charge me $300 for the servo software. 2 Wheel has the 15', 16', and 18' software but they have not done a 17' with the EVR so they dont have it on file unfortunately. Hopefully getting the software by next Tuesday whether previous owner scans it to me tomorrow or if I have to pay for it. Should be picking it up next Wednesday and will see the final dyno results once the EVR actually works correctly. I could have just wired it shut and deleted the servo and had a regular exhaust but why not make the 'fancy' part work since it's already on there and I have time.

So I finally got the bike back after 2 weeks and I gotta say Graves customer service is about the worst experience you can have and this no the first time dealing with them. Finally got the bike working correctly and we got the EVR working and she made 182 hp on a used Bridgestone slick. The Graves tune that the previous owner had done for it became corrupted which made the valve close when it should have opened. Their file fucked up and then they tried to charge me $300 for a new EVR unlock but ended up not having to pay for it after a week of working things out. The previous owner even bought everything directly from Graves and had to call them directly as well at the tuner did multiple times. I got so frustrated that told them to wire it up and tune it like a regular exhaust yesterday morning and they waited a few more hours and Graves finally got back to them with the software.

the tire does make a few hp difference between them I'm not sure about the bridgestone slicks but we take my pirellis off my track bike and switch them with a harder compound street tire off my other bike.
