amsoil...transmission fluid?

Hey guys...so ive been running amsoil on my R1 since 2000 miles currently at 6,000. Im doing my oil change soon and my buddy is a distributor for amsoil and he recommended me to use an extra quart of the amsoil motorcycle oil as the transmission fluid. He states that the amsoil engine oil (used as a tranny fluid) will make the bike run even better and will give the clutch a "wet clutch" feel.

i was skeptical but he said he talked to a yamaha tech and said they use similar things in race bikes.

any suggestions as to whether or not i should use it?

Before you get flammed any further. The bike HAS a WET CLUTCH! The engine and clutch SHARE the same fluid!

AMSOIL is a top oil, but you can use Mobil1 Gold Cap just the same!

just put Royal Purple ATF in mine on the last change - now it's an automatic!

1) Bike already feels like a wet clutch, don't need it to feel any wetter.

2) Just keep your buddy as a distributor of product, nothing else.

that was the reason i asked was because i was sure our bikes shared the same fluid for tranny and engine...so i was like eh?

guess ill just keep him as a distributor...hahaha!
