For the 04. 1050cc with JE pistons. 2mm overbore and its been ported, polished and valve's has been back cut and the head has been deck .10. The compression without the decking is 13.1 with the decking 13.7. Its reliable with the stock rods. It should be close to 200 all motor. I will keep you posted on the results but right now its 10 degrees and if it dont warm up today it may be sunday before i can get a baseline before tuning.

Only thing that worries me bout the big bore is Chuck Graves chimed in and said there wasn't enough material between the cylinders to do a 2mm overbore and have it be reliable.

 

This kit has been in use for approx 8 months i think with no problems. There is a 3mm over that is being tested but i think the walls will be too thin for this. There is plenty of room for the 2mm over. You can believe the test or just someone that says it wont work. I myself believe the real world test. just my .02

Does the big bore kit come with the porting, polishing and valve's that are back cut and w/ the head decked at .10 ?

Or is that extra?

no just swing it down. On the right just below the seat there is a bolt with a shim that you will have to take out to get the motor to swing down enough.

Hey..i wish it were true myself, as i was/maybe am still looking to get it. But the bike is stock around 155 ish, and your not going to gain an extra 40-50hp....

I promise 190 + all motor. I am at 164 all motor without the big bore and the headwork.
