Guys please help!

I got an R1 2000, i replaced the battery with a brand new YUASA and also the stator and the relay.

So the problem is:

I start the bike, it all goes great but if i switch off the bike then it won't start again!

It's like, it doesnt have enough power to ignite again!

And if i connect the wires to jumpstart it it instantly fires up like new!

Please guys, can you help?

Check the health of your charging system. Here is a link to the service manual:

As above, or you may have a serious current leak. Are all lights, and turn signals working, as adverstised ? The interments panel, and back light ? Check the condition of the battery terminals and fasteners, the cables, Check
the fuze box. You may have a foreign object, somewhere, and while not completly shorting out, it might
be pulling down your electricals. Will the bike run, and is it rideable for 10 minutes or more, after the initial start ?
That would be my estimate, for running on the battery alone, with a dead charging system.

Take your seat off to reveal the battery and put a volt meter onto the battery terminals look at the reading, now start the bike up with volt meter still attached you should see an increase of voltage about 13.5v if I remember rightly this will tell you instantly if your charging system is putting enough volts out to replenish your battery life while riding.
