Try looking up Sportech windscreens. There's a good colored black chrome windscreen. The windscreen itself SUCKS and doesn't fit the 04'-05 R! for CRAP! But the color on the site is an exact match as the real thing.

Has anybody seen black chrome in person? I am going to black chrome my frame, sub frame, swing arm and wheels. I have a gray and black 02 r1. I would like to know what it looks like first. One of my friends said that there are black chrome faucets to look at to see what it looks like. I have never heard of that. Can any one help?

Black chrome looks sweet, but try to get whoever's doing it for you to show you an example of something they've done. Just like if you say something is "red", it could be 20 different shades of red, black chrome is the same way. I have a black chrome KBC helmet, which looks different from other black chrome plated products I've seen. They'll all be reflective, but the color cast you see could vary somewhat.

My KBC VR1 helmet is also black chrome and it looks great.

 

We have a translucent powder coating service available in black chrome. The best way to describe it is "charcoal chrome" and it looks alot like Road Raider's rims. We have them polished like a mirror then powdercoated over the top... Looks very trick... (same color proccess we do on our bikes)..

$650 if the rims are chromed already... just a little more if they need polishing...
