Depends on the slip on. I can tell you it's a big difference without the cat.

 

It's going to be significantly louder. Plenty of videos of them in the 2015 exhausts thread. I have the m4 street slayer on mine and it's loud and I don't find it annoying I'm sure my neighbors do though

I think the m4 is a lot shorter the the Akra. I listened to a lot of videos but so hard to tell on a computer. I am mostly worried about the popo. The louder it is the more likely they will mess with you. I really want to get rid of the weight and heat of cat.

 

The m4 is shorter but eliminating the cat will make a major increase in noise. I haven't been bugged by the cops in SoCal idk how the cops are from your area but they **** with me for my evo non stop but leave my bike Alone

Its loud. I have the Akra slip on and link pipe. I always wear ear plugs but had to ride for half an hour without them, and i now realise why people turn round. I couldn't ride for any length of time without earplugs, too loud

 

Thats what I was afraid of. Maybe i should use the Y pipe and stock slip on.

I installed the Gianelli ( arrow) slipon, here olso same noise as original.
End of next week will i install a link pipe and make a movie.
I bought de Gianelli because it have a bafle and hope the noise will be ok with the link pipe.And have the ability to easy change to a bigger silencer for track day.
Max db level on track here is 95.

I wear ear plugs . I do not mind loud exhaust. As stated previously it is the police who do not enjoy it.

 

Damn man. That sucks. We spent our money on it. Why can't we install whatever we want on it. :dunno

 

Just installed the mid pipe last night and the sound difference is substantial. I'm still running the stock slip on. If you want to sell the akra slip on just let me know..

Everybody standing trackside loved the sound of my bike on the straight. I was getting complements all day.

Graves 3/4th LINK with Graves upper and lower V stacks…

 

I'm running the Yoshimura Alpha carbon 3/4 system with the Graves cat eliminator flash tune map. I don't feel my bike is overly loud. Super high quality system at a great price.

I agree that Harleys are the real noise offenders, not us. Can't stand those things!

Just installed my Hindle last night and put it on the dyno.... it's SUBSTANTIALLY louder!

People recommend watching video's, but then you're relying on the mic of the recording device and your speakers. The video's do not do any exhausts justice... in person it sounds much more mean.

I have an Akra end can and De-cat link pipe and I think it's a little loud. Amazing sound though. And to be honest I have not been stopped by the police ...... Just yet.

 

I'm running the Moto1 slip on with M4 Titanium mid pipe. I NEED to have ear plugs in. Its loud. But it doesnt sound bad. I get many compliments at the track. It drowns out all the other bikes around me and you can hear it from the opposite end of the track. But like I said it sounds good. Its not annoying. I also have a custom tune so it runs properly. The power is great and the throttle smoothness is amazing.
