on the coolant hose clamps, in the service manual it’s says to replace with new, has anyone reused them?
Also what tool removes them? I think I remember seeing one available on Amazon or somewhere that was pretty cheap but can’t recall.

You can’t reuse them as they are crimped by a special tool. You can probably put regular hose clamps on it but I would recommend looking at the Samco hoses and they have their own clamps that are really nice. Or just get the oem and buy the special tool.

This type of clamp is used all the time for lines on beverage machines. They work like a hose clamp, but if you install these properly, they won't come loose.

The tool you are supposed to use looks like a set of end cutters that doesn't close all the way. Otiker was the name brand. They are big and bulky and way too expensive when you only need to crush 2-3 clamps. I wouldn't buy them for this small job. Even when I was working with the clamps, all day long, it was easier to use a small set of cutters. Just don't close them all the way and you'll be fine. The advantage with this tool is that you can crush the clamp on the end, or the side. The tool is worthless for any other use.

I opened and closed them several times. I never had a problem and I use my R1 exclusively on race tracks. For the first few times I did not even have to special tool. Worked as well with a standard gripper (but not very good, so I bought the right tool).
