:hammer: I ordered the CRG shorty levers and my brother says that they are going to be too short and that the standard length will look and work better on my "07 R1, particularly, the clutch. Any thoughts? I ride mostly street and occasional track days.

How many fingers you use on the brake or clutch lever has nothing to do with strength. It's all personal preference. I use shorties with an STM slipper that's tighter than stock, and have brembo aftermarket components from calipers up to the master cylinder. Just because its possible to 1 finger brake it doesn't mean i'm going to. It's personal preference, I have more modulation control with 4 fingers than 1.

So your statement is pretty much ignorant :dunno :hammer:

CRG are better from my understanding. They have bearings where the Pazzos have only bushings. The levers have PLENTY of leverage too, so dont believe him. Ive seen one regular on the clutch and a shorty on the brake before on some bikes. Personally, I think thats ghey.

Unless you have some seriously large hands, you shouldn't have a problem grabbing with 4 fingers on the shorty's. Ok, you might only be able to grab it with 3.5 fingers...half the pinky hanging off. I went with Pazzo's so that it's just not a long reach for the clutch; it's much easier to grab it now. You can't go wrong with either the Pazzo's or the CRG's and there is plenty of leverage with the shorty's

Go with the CRG's shorty man. Much better looking and all you need is two fingers plus if you just so happen to low slide you'll be less likey to scratch or bend them.
