Here is my high mount slip-on for my '98. I have no complaints about it.

 

I've got one on my 99 R6 and love it.

How are they on the 04 R1? I heard you have to take the header off to change the oil because of the proximity to the filter??

I would have probably put a full devil on my 04 but didn't because of the oil change issue

Had a titanium Devil on my ol 2001 Gix 600.Loved the sound but felt I lost a little umph!! with the high mount.I just installed a carbon Akra slip and it is not as loud as the Devil but imo it's the pefect sound not too loud and not too soft.I am gonna order my oem plastics and the R1 will be on the streets of Chicago by April.

I don't think I have a choice since the 04's have undertail exhaust. I will definatly let you know how I like it. It should be here sometime early next week.
I got the full SS with carbon cans :thumbup

By the way I love your red and wt 02. Thats what I had before it met is untimley departure from this earth

I saw the Devil magnum on a 05' Raven at the dealer...didn't like the cans at all. They were HUGE.
