i plan on getting some new clip-ons soon and i am trying to decide what to do as far as grips go. i had pro grips on the 02. they where alright, but wore kinda crappy. i currently have the stock grips and i like them. i'm trying to decide if i should re-use the sock grips or go with something else.

i know alot of people have experience with these 2 bands. i have small hands, so i was hoping to get some input. i'm also open to any other suggestions you guys might have.

I have the Driven D on the R1 on now dominos on the duc. If you want a soft grip get the drivens, very nice feel and not squishy at all. Dominos are favored by most of course but they're a thin grip with not much cushion, thinner than my stock duc grips by far. I'm pure city rider so for me the drivens are my go to.

Crappy weather and boat loads of work, I finally got some time to ride and compare the 2 grips. I've had the driven D-axis for a few months and they are a tad bit thicker and have a more cushiony sticky feel. They suck up a decent amount of road vibration and were pretty comfortable for city traffic and longer trips. Even though I have bigger hands, they were a little bit to big for my liking.

The domino grips are soft and the grips are a bit more aggressive. They feel quite a bit smaller in my hands and they do lack some of the thicker cushiony feel like the Driven's. There is a bit more vibration I pick up when riding around coming from the road and bike. I've only been on a few short night rides and so far I've liked these a bit more than the Driven's. Now that work is slowing up some I should get a lot more riding time in with the Dominos

i've heard lots of good things about domino, i would love to try 'em out but i run Rizoma billet grips n' have no effin' clue where the orig. went...
so i guess i'm stuck with these, i like 'em just fine... the way i ride these days i rarely have full grip on 'em anyway, light touch n' all that jazz :thumbup

I've used both.

I like Domino better. Very aggressive grip and they last long. I'm on my second set only because I wanted to change color.

They also install a lot easier than any other grip I've owned because of the hard inner section on the grip. Slides right on with my wife's hair spray.

They are thinner. I have huge hands so I had to adapt to that. But it turned out to be better on the throttle side because I usually only grip that side with my thumb and last 2 fingers for 2 or 1 finger braking and rev matching.

Vibrations doesn't bother me. This bike doesn't vibrate much to begin with and I don't "death grip" the clipons.

They look better than any other grip on the market.

Domino!
