At 70 roll on Id rather see the bike in 1st or 2nd gear, not third. It should be screaming and jumping at the start....

To pull on a 600 from a roll is one thing but a newer literbike, that hard...wow.

Looks may be deceiving but it did not seem like the bike was pulling that hard....I agree that the bike should have been in probably second gear considering the car has that many HP's to it.....

 

Bikes arent good in the upper ranges against bad-ass cars. Bikes are good at accleration.

 

can any of you guys guess what kind of hp does the car have with the turbos? anyways, as the old story goes. drop a little $$$ into the bike and watch how fast it'll put a football field on the viper.

the viper is running at least 750 hp... upgraded twin turbo cars on highways are hard to beat. there was another video with a twin turbo supra running like 700+ hp was kicking the bikes @ss left and right.

 

This past Saturday Mr. Gary Javo www.garyjavo.com took his Heffner TT (850+ rwhp) Viper and raced a piped GSXR 1000 (quicker than a 'Busa until rev limiter, stock). Followed by a 0-200+ MPH sprint down a 8 mile stretch of road. Car has no roll bar or any safety features. He's rolling on 20" rims and Pirelli's. Many people were scared that he would crash and be instantly killed due to the big rims.

But what I gather is it took the cost of a viper, two quite expensive turbos plus set up . to do a bullshit roll on.

How bout a standing start by skilled pilot. All I know is that a stock R-1 can reach top speed on the track (189MPH ON SPEEDO)at Gainesville and still have time to brake Can the viper do that ?

Nothing against the Viper but really roll ons are bullshit and really do not mean alot. "However" the Viper should be able to out corner a bike, but say 20 laps at daytona the Viper would not have tires or brakes left and the bike would ride home without any problems,While the viper was on a towtruck with smoke billowing out from underneath.

that viper would walk any stock litre bike. its a beast of a car. for all you babies saying it was staged, it wasnt. that car is DAMN FAST. ive nearly lost to a 550rwhp 240sx with sr20, i can only imagine what a 900rwhp, 1200rwtq viper could do... i guess ill find out in a year when i order one.

But a over 800 hp turbo Viper or Supra will always crush bikes like that. A mod bike could also win, it's all about :dollar .

i love how that fool on the gixxer said his bike was faster than a hyabusa... that bike didnt look like anything special to me. seems to me that he shoulda been in second gear at that roll on... im willing to bet he woulda kept up with the viper if not pulled away from him a little bit.

 

the gixxer 1000s are faster than a busa until the very very top of 6th gear.

 

i have only raced one viper and it was on my R6. i was behind him. when he hit it i twisted it all the way around. i was in second. pulled even it second and when i hit third i pulled ahead. i shut it down when i was doing well over 140 and he gave up when i got way ahead. i am sure he was doing well over 110. my buddy was on a 87 hurricane and couldn't get around him

 

That GSXR1000 started out in 2nd gear and the Viper started out in 3rd gear.

What exactly makes it so hard to believe that this car could out accelerate a GSXR1000? There is a similar Twin Turbo Dodge Viper, built by the same shop, that has ran the quarter mile in 8.75 seconds at 168 mph.

I have pulled GSXR1000', R1's, a Boss Hoss from a roll and I don't make anywhere near that much power.

and im not doubting that viper. its a freaking SICK ASS car. i KNOW it pulled the gsxr, that viper is from savannah ga if im not mistaken, its a freaking monster. people just think that bikes cant lose. they can when you twin turbo a viper.

 

No it only takes about 600-650ish rwhp to hang with a 1000 cc bike.
