I have #2563 and I got mine on March 2nd In S. Florida. I am now thru with the break-in and first service has been done. I have been getting into the power more now. It is F#%king mind-bending. Motor is beginning to make more power and gearbox is like butter--that's with regular oil as well. Second gear wheelies on power are no sweat at around 6500 RPM There really is no comparison from this bike to my old YZF600R. Ride safe..........
Thanks for the responses! Keep 'em coming. I have sympathy for you guys that can't ride due to the weather. It was nice here today. went out for a couple of hours. Nearly 200 miles now....WOOO-HOOO! Can't wait to see her turn 1000 miles. Man, I love this bike! Summer's coming....... Later..........
My VIN # is 377....Cape Canaveral, FL and my friends is #184..Huntsville, AL....we both bought cycles in North Alabama....me, Decatur....he, Scottsboro. Fact is, I am in North Alabama this week to pick my bike up....Keith
No. 326 here in Toronto! Trying deperately to get through the break in period.:cryin Almost too freakin' cold to ride but somehow have managed to get 600km on it... com'on spring!
Arrived at the shop early to late Feb. I went to the dealer and he told me to come to the back of the shop and look at the bikes serial number. He said the first five go to Yamaha for testing, so really it's the fourth consumer bike. It's still at the shop in the crate. Too much snow to even get it home. Poor thing.
R1ascal................#9...huh? That is pretty cool. When I got mine I was just hoping it was not #666! Just some kind of superstition thing I guess.......lol. Keep em comin' guys!
#166, blue. 2/09/02, Manteca, CA :rock :thumbup :yesnod
