I was leaning more to the Teknic Roo with matching Roo boots:crash
Can you give us a review of your Roo skins?Do they come with perforations? how did the leather hold up on your get off? Tears? Splits? Zippers hold? Armor? did you have to replace It?
When you coming out for a ride? just trailer her and I'm sure the cops won't notice that your bike has no tags or headlights:crash
Yea, my brand-freakin' new Teknic roo suit (for those who don't know) took a hell of a beating during a high-speed wreck on the track. I wound-up sliding and tumbling a long way down the asphalt.
Except for some bruising and minor rash from the friction of my skin against the inner part of the suit, I came out pretty well.
My helmet was destroyed and my suit was pretty banged-up. Both knees, elbows, shoulders, forearms, and various other little spots here and there were worn completely through. Some holes were very big, some smaller. Where the leather wore through though, I had armor there to pretect me.
I was able to ride with the suit for many track days following the crash with duct-tape covering the holes. I eventually sent it back to Teknic's Warranty Repair Service. They patched it up and charged me a reasonable fee for the job.
The suit is so light and flexible due to the thinness of the leather. Compared to my former suit, a Dianese T-Age - which felt like it could stop a bullet, the Teknic Speedstar feels like a windbreaker almost.
Overall, I love the suit and would recommend it to anyone - except you, r1gladiator, because it doesn't come in your favorite color...PINK.
