So far I added Power Commander, slash cut exhaust, scorpio alarm system, puig carbon fiber rear hugger. Puig double bubble windscreen, and some sliders. I think I'll let that settle in for now..lol

Nice bike. :fact Keep in mind those frame sliders you have on there won't do you any good if you lay it down. With those metal caps the bike will slide even longer.

How does the stock exhaust sound on those new Gixxers anyway?

 

The stock exhaust sounds like a fricken beast growling. There is no comparison to the smooth even tone of the R1. Remember I own both 06' bikes. The Gixxer sounds alot better with the stock can than the stock R1.

I don't think It's any faster, it just sounds faster because of the low throaty exhaust tone. It makes you feel like you're tearing shit up. It will power up in 3rd gear if your not paying close attention though. I passed a car the other day coming off an onramp onto the interstate and rolled on the throtlle and up she came. I'm pretty sure the R1 will do the same. I haven't been able to really test it yet. The wife keeps a pretty tight leash on her baby!

My stock can will be staying on. It sounds awsome and from the seat you can't see it, so who cares what it looks like, and the same goes for the blinkers in the mirrors, besides I like the way it looks anyway!

I'm not feeling the stickers either. I like a more subtle look!

It really is nice to have two of the most awsome two wheeled machines ever built in my garage!:epimp
