I’ve read and watch videos where they have said good things and bad things about lowering your bike. I’m 5’8” and I’d like to have my feet flat when sitting on the bike. Might have to go down 2” not sure till I measure it. I’ve seen people say lowering it you also have to adjust the rear suspension so on and so on but other said there is no need to. I’ve seen 2 different kinds online one fixed the other looks adjustable also what is a good brand for this modification thanks

On the list of cons I'd put the loss of cornering pretty high. Honda tried slinging the weight lower to get better straight line speed, but in the corners the riders complained. They also had it so low the frames would flex. Rothmans added some gussets to the frame to mitigate it. It helped. Other gp riders said there was a honda lane and in the straights the honda would blow past them every time. Everything is a trade off. You'll hook up better if you lower it and it will stay planted going hella fast. Just my .02
