What pressures are you running on these? I just mounted mine Saturday. It's been raining so no ride yet.
Only street riding for me, so I've been running the stock recommended 36 psi front/42 psi rear. I've thought about experimenting with dropping the rear a bit, but have yet to do so.

I'll experiment some, I ride to high elevation on my go to loop, so 33 where I base can turn into 39 up at 9500 feet. I ran your PSI on the stock RS10 and was near 50 rear, warm and at peak altitude.

Wow. Yeah I'm mostly around sea level to maybe 1000' at most. It sounds like you're on the right track for your conditions.

Done about 500kms on the tires now street only running 36F/40R. They are extremely stable and grippy more so than PP3 and felt like a bit more than the M7RR imo. They dont tip in as fast as PP3 but i found that gave me more control over corner entry and tipping point. I cant wait to try these out at the next track day.

I rode through some rain as well and they dont have good wet handling they were slipping a bit. If you ride in the rain or wet the M7RR would be a better choice they have excellent wet grip.

In terms of wear they are visibly used so doubt they will last as long as PP3 or M7RR but as long as its in the ball park thats fine. I was able to get 11-12k kms from PP3s and M7RRs which is about 6 to 7k miles.

Forgot to add its a very plush ride as well which marks a change for Michelin. At 40psi in the rear i was surprised how comfortable it was no jarring at all.

What were you running before? I find them mush less so than Q3s.

Yup. Sent frum my cell.

Michelins have always been good all year round street tires, it's just that they just melt after a handful of laps on track and then let go with little warning (one or two corners at most) What I want to know, since these are supposed to be hypersport/track tires is how do they do with a few hot laps under them. I've already seen a guy post a video of him just helplessly two wheel drifting off a corner and on to the grass with these, so is it the same old Michelin melting story? The verdict is still out.

Yep!!! They let go without even saying a word to you. Ungrateful bastards.

Depends how fast you are. I got 4 track days plus road riding out of last set of pp3s and no tire warmers. They were fine in intermediate group but could break loose under hard breaking or mid corner if not smooth on the throttle. Given the power rs is so much better i think they would be fine for intermediate and quick groups. Faster than that you should be using race tires.

A friend is using a slick on the front and the power rs on the rear and he is damn fast don't think he has had any issues with grip or heat cycles although he uses tire warmers.

Thanks for the comments on the wet handling. I nearly bought a set, but in the end went with the M7RR because they are so good in the wet and it's winter in NZ.

That's really good tyre life. Wish I could get that sort of mileage!

I can't believe these tires lean more than the Q3s, I'm trying them after my Q3s bite the dust. For what it's worth I loved the Pilot Power 3s, excellent stability and predictability.

Anyone try the S21s and then the Michelin RS?

I just ordered a set of these to replace my wasted Q3s. If they suck I'm blaming you guys. :smile2:

I've ran Q2s/Q3s for years. I have got these guys mounted up on my 09 and 16. Have about 600 miles on each and I'm liking them a lot.

But if they go to shit I'm blaming you for jinxing me!

Seriously though... So far so good. Liking them more than the Q3s. And I really liked the Q3s. Longevity will be the decider.

No problem wet grip on these is comparable to the pp3 not bad but the m7rr was excellent in the wet so good choice. Try them in the summer you'll probably like them. I get good mileage on tires because on the street I run them at 36f and 40 or 42 r. I ran the pp3 at 42r which was fine but the m7rr would slip mid corner so dropped it to 40 r. Also I don't break hard on the street which is where a lot of wear happens i keep it smooth and don't charge corners.

If you loved the pp3 then it's a good bet you'll love the power rs more except for wear but time will tell how long they last :)
